Lab equipment and salvia extract

Hello my readers, now that I’m in charge of the production of salvia extract I’m gonna tell you a story about a mistake I made while at work.

Our equipment to extract Salvinorin-A is professional grade, we use lab glass usually called “Pyrex”, which is more chemical resistant than regular glass, and it’s also resistant to sudden heat changes, or at least that’s what I thought.

I’m in charge or 2 glass extractors, fairly big, but light enough to carry it with both of my hands. We need to clean them every time after we finish an extraction.

Of course with so many orders, you have to do it fast to get it ready for the next salvia extraction. So the equipment is still warm after I empty the glass container of our extractors. Unfortunately I accidentally hit the container against the table strong enough to create a crack in its base.

I was amazed that it didn’t happened before, because I used to accidentally hit those containers with at least that same strength a lot of times, but this time it cracked.

After thinking thoroughly about what happened, I think that the reason for the fracture was the temperature of the glass, which it was warm at that time.

From now on I’ll let them cool down, doesn’t matter if it takes a little more time.

Bagels with salvia flavor

Before I came here I didn’t know about bagels, it looks like a bread with the shape of a donut. The main ingredient is flour and yeast.

There are a variety of ingredients you can add to produce different flavors most of them are sweet. Most common flavors are: cinnamon, onion, chocolate etc.

What I’ve been thinking is what would a bagel taste if we add some salvia on it. I’ve tasted salvia at work, my job is to make salvia extracts. Salvia doesn’t taste that good to pass alone as a condiment, but mixed with other flavors you can minimize the semi-bitter salvia taste. That’s why we sell flavored salvia extracts, they’re more enjoyable.

About the salvia effects after you ate a salvia bagel… I’m not quite sure what would happen. Maybe the world will never know…

After manufacturing salvia extracts…

Although I’m busy working with Salvia Extracts, I always make some time to play video games.

Here’s a list of the video games I’ve played and liked the most.

SNES

Street Fighter II. Classic arcade game, it was outran by King of Fighters for several years, but I think they’re gonna to recover their supremacy with Street Fighter IV

Yoshi’s story. Yes, I’m a kid and I like Yoshi.

Mortal Kombat. Well, in the system is not that good, but I was impressed with the graphics and sound of the arcade edition. Never been another game like that, not even its own sequels.

Killer Instincts. Yes, I’m an adult and I like to kill people in video games.

N64

Star Fox. Don’t tell me you don’t like this game, just try it once and you’ll become a fan. The best balance between playability and difficulty. The graphics are excellent for its time. And it has a great story.

International Super Star Soccer. There’s not been another soccer game like this one, they sacrificed brands, real player names, real stadiums, to become the best soccer game on mobility, playability, and exciting narration, there are too many good reasons to fit in one paragraph, if you’re a soccer video game fan, try this one, you won’t regret it.

Mario Party (all of them). If Super Mario Bros. was fun, this one was hilarious, just try it, I used to play it with my brothers, and those were the best times of my life. The more people, the more fun.

Mario Kart. Also played it with my brothers and friends, infinite fun.

XBOX 360

Crackdown. Do you need an alternative for GTA? This is the one to try. But this time, you’re the policeman, sounds boring? IS NOT!

Gears of wars II. I have to admit I never played the first one, but this is one of the best games ever, the best graphics I’ve ever seen, great mobility, and excellent story.

GTA IV. What can I say about GTA, I love all of them, I’ve played GTA III, Vice City, San Andreas, and now I’m playing this one, damn, those are great titles, I just can’t get enough of them. I’ve learned a lot from GTA to be able to play some other games, I learned to fly a plane there, and now I impressed my friend by getting a fly simulator game and fly it with little practice. I think I could fly a chopper also if there would be a simulator game for them.

These aren’t the best games and I don’t intend to list them here, these are games I’ve played and enjoyed every minute of it.

First time I buy salvia

After a long procrastination, I decided to buy salvia, it came in a little vial, filled to the top, I even got to see the sparkling Salvinorin-A over dry leaf particles.

It was a 20X, but before buying it, I made my research to have good salvia experience. There’s plenty of info on the web if you know where to look for.

Even knowing this, I decided to do it without a sitter, not because I’m brave or something, but because I’m a bitter old man with no friends.

I also bought a pipe, because I couldn’t afford a bong or a hooka. The first time I blew the smoke, I couldn’t hold it in, neither the second one, I had to bear the hot smoke inside my lungs and it was difficult. Finally on the third one I managed to hold it more than 10 seconds, but I read the ideal time is at least 20 secs, so I blew my pipe again, this time I held it more than 20 seconds.

I started feeling the effects and laid on my bed with my eyes closed. I’ve never felt something like that before, I felt that a group of people was in the room, at least four, each of them trying to get one of my legs and arms, as if trying to take me to another place, but I felt that my skin was like sand in their hands, they tried to grab me, but I slipped between their fingers.

They tried this several times until they finally get me out of the room to a hot place, I didn’t open my eyes but I think it was a desert. I opened my eyes and I was in my room again, all dizzy, but this was one of the greatest experience I’ve ever had.

I’m looking forward to get some more salvia, but first I’ll get a bong or something like that to help with the experience. I might even try a higher potency.

I hope this experience help you decide to experience this great entheogen.

Familiy guy and salvia divinorum

Hello my fellow readers, I’m black!… I mean, I’m back!

I’m having the famous “writer’s block” today so I will stretch my imagination a little, and yours along.

Do you know the Family Guy character named Brian? Yes, the white talking dog. In that show, he’s been drunk, beaten up, and even intoxicated.

But I wonder how would he react if he was under salvia divinorum effects,. You know, you’ve seen those teenagers in Youtube doing it, some are funny some not much, but they always have a reaction to this hallucinogen.

What would his reaction be? IMO I guess that he will run around scared by the hallucinations until he stomp on his room’s wall, specially if Stewie was his sitter, he won’t help Steve, on the contrary he’d enjoy his temporary burden. That would be hilarious.

Now talking seriously, in reality you must always have a sitter, a person you can trust he will watch over you and won’t stand there just laughing at your expenses.

Tell me what do you think would Brian’s reaction be under Salvia Divinorum effects, leave a comment.

Hamburgers with salvia extract

Because of my work selling salvia extract and to keep mobility, I’ve been using Mcdonald’s Wi-Fi service at least every other day lately.

I’ve always liked hamburgers, but not the one of that kind. What I mean with this, is that I don’t like big corp. hamburgers, like Carl’s Jr, Burger King, and McDonald’s. So, more than a pleasure, it was a suffering to have to eat this kind of food.

First of all, the size, I could take a couple of hamburgers with one hand and eat them both at the same time. Then, the flavor, they’re never hot enough, not even well cooked, and if you last more than one hour to eat them, their consistency turns into cardboard-like. And last but not least, they’re not healthy, and they’re expensive.

I rather like Subway, or at least a small hamburger place, if Mexican much better, I recommend you to taste an avocado hamburger, they’re the best!

Calafias and salvia extracts

This is one of several times when I’ve experienced how cows and chickens are transported.

I’ve complained about bad transportation system in Tijuana, now I’m gonna tell you one specific story, so you can get a better sense of what I’m talking about.

After working on salvia extracts I was traveling home in one of those “Calafias”, I took it at the station, so I got a seat. The Calafia took-off after almost full, with people standing up.

We were on our way and the driver kept gathering more people on the way, until it couldn’t enter another more person. The guy stopped to get more people into the Calafia, but passengers at the door didn’t move to the back, so the driver got out of the vehicle and from outside the window yelled at the people in the back to get a little closer to each other, some did obey, some didn’t.

I’m always listening to my music at the highest volume possible. So I couldn’t hear if since earlier the driver was screaming to the people in the back to move, but it might happened. Anyway, when the driver saw that not all of the passengers moved, and no one else could enter the vehicle, he started driving fast and passing over some holes on the street with reckless behavior.

Some girls were screaming and the damn driver still went on with this nonsense for a couple of miles more.

This is how regular people is treated in Tijuana, that’s why I would never live in there, right now I’m just passing-by, fortunately.

I feel more in touch with those farm animals now.

Would Socrates buy salvia?

I’m reading “The republic” of Socrates and it’s very interesting.

People don’t agree if Socrates was a real person, or just an invention of his “disciple” Plato, the one who really wrote those stories, but as he always write them as if he was a witness, and not an author, he confuses even the best contemporary historians.

I was always interested on reading this book, because is supposed to be the base for our modern cities, specially on the subject called “Politics”. No one who aspire to be a politician can be complete if hasn’t read this magnificent writing.

What I can tell from what I’ve read so far, is how smart and high-degree of thinking this discussions are, for instance a great example of why the ancient Greek Philosophy was the greatest of its time. Because this is not a history, or a tale. This writing is about the discussion about an hypothetical city, the ideal city, based on the ideal citizen.

Of course that the ideal of a city and the ideal of a man will never be perfectly realized on any time in the future, so, in resume this is a discussion about an utopia.

But you can see that most of the ideas of a modern city are contemplated in that reading, and even also some degree how modern religions are structured.

I guess that Socrates would probably buy salvia extracts. Yeah, I can imagine that old man getting high with that herb and get lost in that great mind of his.

Would Socrates buy salvia?

You may not know Tijuana or one of their transportation “buses” called “Calafias” so I’ll explain a little bit how they are.

If you’re from the US you have a close reference for this kind of vehicles, they’re just those vans bus-like shaped for kindergarten kids with a max seated capacity of 20 children.

When they finish they’re useful life or they’re too dangerous to leave your kids life inside of one of those little buses, then Tijuana receive them and paint them to use them as a local transportation vehicles.

Why would an important and big city like Tijuana use those old and dangerous vehicles to transport their citizens? Good question, I’ve made that same question a long time ago. Btw, no answer found yet.

Of course that’s not the only mean of transportation, there are a little bit more comfortable vehicles as large buses (regular size American school buses, also brought from the US when they don’t want them anymore), taxis on route, same like buses and “Calafias” but they’re normal vans that can carry 7 passengers.

I don’t complain about the price, but someone with a little more dignity and money would pay the expensive personal taxis.

What Mexico gives on exchange to the US? Salvia of course!

Crossing the border with Salvia Divinorum.

One of the days I needed to cross the Mexico-US border on business for Salvia Divinorum, I had a funny situation, that can only happen in my dear Mexico.

I’ve had crossed the border several times before, always on foot, so the first thing I look for is how long the pedestrian crossing is.

Most of the times I didn’t care, sometimes because I wasn’t in a hurry or it was early. But that time I really was in a hurry an it was also late, and even worst, when I reached to see the waiting line for pedestrians it was the longest one I’d ever seen.

So, I got there hoping for the best, when some guys started offering to pass people through the border in less than 5 minutes for only 5 dollars. At first I was hesitating even to ask, but I looked at my watch and I decided to ask what it was all about.

The guy told me “guaranteed, you cross the border in 5 minutes or your money back”. But I asked for an explanation on how they plan to do that, They were vague, they just kept telling me that it was no problem and it was legal.

So I was sold, I payed them the 5 bucks and a guy told me to follow him, we walked towards the border by the street, and we were walking towards a car, I really thought that I was going to get into the car, cross the border and that was it. But no, when we got to the nearest point to the spinning gate, he told me: “this is it”, I asked, “this is what? where do I go from here?” He said: “there, get into the line and cross the spinning gate”, and me, all embarrassed had to step into the line thinking: “I’ve just been scammed”

To finish this silly story, the guy in front of me, kind of more experienced on crossing I guess, just asked me: “How much did you pay them?” I replied: “5 dollars” and he just smiled like thinking: “One more fool…” to say the least.
